本場講座取材自 Winstanley 副教授即將出版的新書《A Guide to Addressing Visual Plagiarism: Ethical Insights for Artists and Designers in an AI World》,從歷史脈絡與當代案例出發,探討視覺抄襲的型態與倫理意涵,並分析生成式 AI 影像在製作與流通過程中引發的爭議,例如深偽技術(deepfake)、資料集濫用與原創權益侵蝕等。

【Abstract】
Visual plagiarism is one of the central challenges in art and design education, raising questions about originality, authorship, and ethical responsibility. With the rapid development of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI), the boundaries of image production, reuse, and attribution have become increasingly blurred, presenting new ethical dilemmas for educators and creators alike.Drawing from her forthcoming book, A Guide to Addressing Visual Plagiarism: Ethical Insights for Artists and Designers in an AI World, Dr. Winstanley will examine the evolving forms and ethical implications of visual plagiarism and discuss controversies surrounding deepfake imagery, dataset exploitation, and the erosion of creative authorship.
Through real-world cases and critical analysis, the lecture invites participants to reconsider how visual integrity can be redefined as a cornerstone of sustainable and responsible creative practice in the age of AI.
